Psychological Assessments

We provide a range of cognitive and academic assessments, ranging from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) testing and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) testing, to intellectual (psychometric) testing. This includes the WISC-V, WIAT-III, WAIS-IV and WPPSI-IV.

Additionally, we can provide neuropsychological assessments can help determine if the areas of weaknesses evidenced in an assessment make sense in terms of what is known about your history and any injuries or illnesses, or if there is something else that needs to be considered.

This service provides families with comprehensive guidance after a child receives a psychological or developmental diagnosis. It includes targeted interventions for neurodivergent children, addressing conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), among others.

Can my child get a Mental Health Treatment Plan?

Yes, children can get a Mental Health Treatment Plan. You can discuss this option with your GP.

This will entitle you to a Medicare rebate for 10 sessions per calendar year.

Do you offer psychometric testing for children?

Yes, we offer the following psychometric tests for children and adolescents:

Wechsler Preschool Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-IV)
Ages 2 – 7 years old
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V)
Ages 6 – 16 years old
Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III)
Ages 4 – 50 years old
Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV)
Ages 16+
