Parramatta Psychology Clinic conducts Behavioural Assessments. Behavioural assessments are used to observe whether a child displays challenging behaviour that falls outside the age-appropriate range. These challenging behaviours. This may include; anxiety, aggressions, hyperactivity, impulsivity, trouble focusing, self-esteem and social skills.
What does it assess?
A Behavioural Assessment assess any behavioural concerns such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Conduct Disorder.

What is the process?
At Parramatta Psychology the process we follow for Behavioural Assessments is as follows;
- The assessor will conduct an initial interview
- Administering the desired assessment
- Report writing
- Feedback Session
For all Behavioural Assessments it is $1000 including report.
How do I get a Mental Health Care Plan?
Visit your GP and ask them for a referral to our clinic. Describe the issues and they’ll give you a referral to see us.
What happens if I don't want to see my GP?
If you don’t want to see a GP, you can visit us without a Medicare Care Plan. You can discuss fees when you call us.
How many sessions do I get by obtaining a Medicare Care Plan?
Medicare provides you with 6 sessions initially. In the event you need additional sessions, visit your GP and they can refer you back to us for more sessions.
